COTA
The Council of the Arts was established in 1983 to promote the performing visual and creative arts for the enjoyment of all residents in the Trails. Participation is encouraged and membership is open to all residents. There are no dues. Each October the group presents the Foothill Follies. Other programs are sponsored throughout the year. COTA meets the first Monday of the month.

KEY CLUB
Membership is open to all adult owners/residents. Membership fee is $10.00 per year per family, payable to the POA (this money goes into the ALT POA General Fund) Members receive a key to the Lakeside Clubhouse. The group meets at 6:30 p.m. on the third and fourth Friday of each month for BYOB cocktails and potluck dinner. There are two groups, A & B.

SILVER SPURS RIDING CLUB
Membership is open to all owners and residents. The club sponsors horse related activities including: trail rides, arena events, clinics, horse shows and social events. Meetings are the last Wednesday of each month at the Barnloft. Membership dues are $10.00 per adult/$15.00 per family.

JUNIOR SILVER SPURS RIDING CLUB
A riding club for young people under age 19. A horse is not a requirement. The club is presently meeting with the Silver Spurs. See above for further information.

ALT DOLPHIN SWIM TEAM
The club offers a swimming program for the youth of the community so that they may learn the elements of swimming and be able to effectively compete in league meets. Children between the ages of 4 and 17 are eligible. Swim lessons consist of two week sessions of 30 minutes per day. The cost for these lessons is $20.00.

ALT TENNIS
For some years the ALT tennis group has been meeting at the courts near the golf course on Wednesdays and Sundays at 7:00 a.m. during the summer and 8:00 a.m. during the winter. Recently there also has been open tennis (catch as catch can) on the same courts at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Tuesdays. Anyone interested in playing is welcome.

WIFFS
Women In For Friendship & Service is a non-profit organization open to all women in ALT. There are no dues. The WIFFS serve as an umbrella organization for various groups and clubs of ALT women, i.e., hostesses for official ALT POA functions, field trips, and various social events. The group meets bi-monthly for lunch and a program.

ALT WOMEN'S GOLF CLUB
Women meet at the Lakeside Clubhouse or on the first tee on Thursday mornings. Both 9 hole and 18 hole groups are organized. Membership is open to all women residents. There is a $10.00 membership fee.

HOGGS (Happy Old Golfing Geezers)
Golf CourseMen meet on every Wednesday and Friday at the Lakeside Clubhouse (coffee and fellowship is 30 minutes prior to tee time) ranging from 7:30 a.m. in summer and 9:30 a.m. in winter. Events include: Once a year Grand Party Tournament (Prizes & refreshments immediately following after game) and a "Jack and Jill" Tournament joined by ALT Ladies Golf Group. All men residents are eligible to join. Membership is free.


ALT GOLF CLUB
All owners/residents are eligible to join in the fun. The group meets on the second Saturday of each month with a lunch following after the game. Meeting time is 8:00 a.m. during the winter and 7:30 a.m. during the summer at the Lakeside Clubhouse. There are a variety of tournaments with prizes awarded.

COUPLES GOLF
Couples golf is open to male and female residents of ALT. Couples meet the second and fourth Monday of each month at the Lakeside Clubhouse. There is no membership fee.
